What it does
Generate a fresh password using your browser’s cryptographic random source. Choose a length from 8 to 128 characters, select letters, digits, and symbols, and create up to 20 passwords in a batch. Every password includes at least one character from each selected group, and generation happens only when you request it.
Useful when
- Create a unique password for a new account.
- Generate credentials compatible with a service’s character restrictions.
- Prepare several random passwords when setting up separate accounts.
How to use it
- Set the password length, batch count, and allowed character groups.
- Generate a fresh batch using Web Crypto in your browser.
- Copy a password into your password manager, or download the batch as plain text.
A few useful details
How are the passwords generated?
The browser supplies cryptographically secure random bytes through Web Crypto. Rejection sampling avoids modulo bias, and candidates are regenerated until each selected character group appears. If secure randomness is unavailable, the tool stops instead of falling back to a weaker generator.
Are generated passwords saved or uploaded?
Generation and results stay in the current browser tab. The tool does not upload or store a password history, and generating another batch replaces the current result. Copying uses your clipboard; downloading creates an unencrypted text file on your device.
Which characters and lengths are supported?
Choose 8–128 characters and 1–20 passwords per batch. Groups include lowercase a–z, uppercase A–Z, digits 0–9, and the symbol set shown beside the checkbox. Each selected group appears at least once. Use a unique password for each account and follow the receiving service’s requirements.
