UpdatedBrowser tools work on your device. Network checks send the information needed for the check. Advertising and hosting providers process some information about your visit.
Text and files you work with
Tools labelled as running in your browser process pasted text and selected files on your device. Their processing does not upload those inputs to urlkit. We do not keep a history of your tool inputs or results. Files you download are saved by your browser to your device.
Checks that use the network
When available, DNS and email-domain checks send the hostname and record types to Cloudflare’s DNS resolver through our service. When enabled, URL and HTTP-header checks send the supplied URL to our service, which contacts the destination website. The destination receives that request, including the URL’s path and query.
“What is my IP?” uses the address Cloudflare observes for your connection, its network number (ASN), and approximate location. It does not request your device’s precise location. Choosing the optional registration lookup sends that IP address through ARIN’s lookup service to the appropriate regional Internet registry.
Hosting and abuse prevention
Cloudflare delivers this website and processes connection information, including your IP address. Checks protected by Turnstile also use Cloudflare to assess browser and connection signals for abuse prevention.
Request limits use hashed IP identifiers. Stored network-tool counters are set to expire after about two minutes; daily totals, without per-IP identifiers, after two days. Expired counters are removed during routine cleanup. Our application request logging is disabled. These settings do not control providers’ own processing or retention; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Advertising and your choices
Eligible tool pages may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers and information about your device, browser, IP address, page visits and ad interactions to deliver and measure advertising. We do not use pasted text, file contents or lookup inputs as ad-targeting parameters.
We do not load ads when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Ads are also disabled for visitors identified as being in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland while we have no certified consent-management service configured. If location eligibility is unknown, ads stay off.
