What it does

Prepare a spreadsheet export for another tool without losing leading zeroes or changing text into numbers. Preview CSV or tab-separated rows, optionally trim whitespace or remove duplicate rows, and download cleaned CSV or JSON. Suitable table data can continue into a table applet from your dashboard.

Useful when

  • Clean a product list before importing it.
  • Turn a timetable into JSON or a table draft.
  • Remove repeated rows from a small spreadsheet export.

How to use it

  1. Paste rows or import a CSV or TSV file.
  2. Check the delimiter and header setting. Choose cleanup options only if you need them.
  3. Review the preview and download CSV or JSON.

A few useful details

Will it change numbers or dates?

Cell values stay as text, preserving values such as postal codes and leading zeroes. Trimming and duplicate removal are optional.

Why might the CSV contain an extra apostrophe?

Spreadsheet-safe CSV prefixes cells that could be interpreted as formulas. This protects the exported file from executing cell formulas; JSON preserves the original text values.

How large can my file be?

Up to 256 KiB, 1,000 data rows, and 30 columns. A table applet has smaller limits, so the dashboard offers that handoff only when the data fits.
