What it does
Give people a calendar file they can open and add to their own calendar. Set a title, start and end time, and timezone; add a location or notes if useful. Download the .ics file to share in an email or on a page. In your dashboard, the same details can become an event applet draft.

A few useful details
Does this send invitations or track replies?
No. It creates a single-event .ics file. You share it yourself, and recipients choose whether to add it to their calendars. No attendee emails or replies are collected.
How are timezones handled?
Enter the event’s local time and choose its timezone. The file stores the corresponding UTC times, which calendar apps can display in each viewer’s timezone. Ambiguous or nonexistent daylight-saving times are rejected so you can choose another time.
Will edits update an already imported event?
No. The downloaded file is a snapshot, not a live calendar subscription. Check the event details before sharing, and communicate later changes separately.
